Travel and Accommodation

Traveling to Cape Verde
There are daily flights to the islands from Amsterdam, Eindhoven, and/or Brussels. Tickets can be booked with TUIFLY, Tap air Portugal (TAP), or Royal Air Maroc.

TUIFLY offers direct flights, but sometimes with a layover. TUIFLY flies to the islands of Sal, Boa Vista, and São Vicente.

TAP  requires a stopover in Lisbon. With TAP, you can fly to the islands of Boa Vista, Sal, Santiago, and São Vicente.

Royal Air Maroc flies with a layover in Casablanca and a stopover in Bissau to Santiago. This journey takes longer and is mainly advantageous when Santiago is the final destination.

The average round-trip ticket prices to Cape Verde are around €500 per person, but this can vary significantly depending on the booking time and travel dates.

Upon arrival in Cape Verde, a tax of €31 must be paid at the airport. It’s recommended to have the exact amount as change might not be provided.
